About
Hi, I'm Amy! I love Jesus and I am one of His followers. That being said, I still sin every day and lament that perfection cannot and will not be attained as long as I draw breath, but......I started out early in life with Jesus. I don't actually remember a time when I didn't know He was there with me, but I have not always followed Him, much to my dismay. I accepted Him as my savior at an early age and proceeded to live my life, comfortable in the knowledge that He loved me and I wasn't headed for hell! I took for granted my salvation and eternal hope and lived, for the majority of my life, as though I belonged to this world, instead of being set apart to serve Him in it.
Despite my poor choices and personal struggles, I am learning that I am not powerful enough to undo what God wants to do with my life and so I sit at my computer and pray I have a word for someone out there that may need some encouragement.
It took me about 30 years to recognize the need and desire to finally spend some time with Jesus and to get to know Him personally (not just on Sunday at church). So I started getting up early every day and reading and having coffee and then one day it began....He began speaking to me and I began writing down what He was saying. And then my life fell into place, all my hopes and dreams came true and everything has been a bed of roses since...NOT EVEN CLOSE (she sighs sarcastically). Life is not perfect (even with a perfect savior), but I am learning every day that despite the difficulties of this life's journey, the destination with Jesus will be perfect!
